Chairman Henry A. Waxman announced a hearing on whether White House officials followed appropriate procedures for safeguarding the identity of CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson. At the hearing, the Committee will receive testimony from Ms. Wilson and other experts regarding the disclosure and internal White House security procedures for protecting her identity from disclosure and responding to the leak after it occurred. The hearing is scheduled for Friday, March 16.
In addition, the Committee today sent a letter to Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald commending him for his investigation and requesting a meeting to discuss testimony by Mr. Fitzgerald before the Committee.

Update 2:
I called Cspan to see whether or not they had any plans on showing the hearings. The first lady I talked to didn't have any clue, I got elevated to a manager who said they only just heard and haven't made a decision yet.
Wonder what could help them make that decision?

Update #3 -
Again, from the comments at FDL:
Just talked to a guy in the Oversight office– so far only Valerie as a witness, open to the public (no passes necessary), there is no media room and they discourage computers in the hearing room b/c it is intrusive and since it promises to be packed– don’t do it. They will have a webcast from their site and they think that cspan will definately carry it.
H/T Angie @ FDL!
As I said below in the comments - it is hard work by you and I that will keep the momentum going for this story. I can still remember reading about this for the first time 3 years ago. I'm still as pissed now as I was then - more! - and I'll be damned if I'm just going to let this incident fade into the night!
Update #4 -
From the Committee web page -
The Oversight Committee will webcast the hearing live at www.oversight.house.gov.
Interestingly enough, that address is incorrect; the actual address it will be shown at is -
oversight.house.gov
My guess is that they've had a long day at the media room for the Committee :) !!! Thank you for all the hard work and phone calls - just got off of the phone with them and I'll have more information about who is going to show up on the 16th, tomorrow, if things pan out.
Keep up the calls, letters, and good hard work! It is making a difference! And let's not just hit Waxman, but all the committee members - find your rep. and let 'em know!
