I think we all have heard enough talk. It is time for action. The Democrats now are stretching on this war, from a well planned redeployment with Congressman Murtha taking the lead, Or Senator Feingold's redeployment within 6 months. Hardly an immediate or hasty exit. But now they're talking not even starting to exit until March of next year. This is madness.
We can't even get them to defund the escalation, let alone the war. And as they play political games, it is already 4 months since the November election.
But even today, we get news that Democratic Leadership is back stepping from the "No Iran War", by removing No Iran Attack without Congressional approval provision.
Enough IS enough. The Democratic leadership has pointed to the President not listening to the people. Well, it is time for them to show THEY WILL.
CNN, just finished conducting their latest poll. And it shows, WE PEOPLE:
54 percent say we were deliberately misled,
Nearly six in 10 of those polled want to see U.S. troops leave Iraq either immediately or within a year. In addition, more people would prefer Congress to run U.S. policy in Iraq than President Bush.
52 percent said Congress should block funding for the new deployment.
So, now Congress, what are you going to do about it?
