Many people believe Rudy Giuliani carries a lot of political baggage. I'm here to dispel that notion.
1.
Good judgment is crucial to being an effective leader and President, so Republicans were quite pleased when they heard Rudy say that "George Bush has been a great President".
Rudy clearly "gets it".
2.
When we talk about defending traditional marriage, Rudy has proved he doesn't just pay lip service to the issue, in fact he's defended three of them, which is more than most politicians have done.
3.
By refusing to campaign with Rudy, his son sent a bold message to voters that he's willing to selflessly step aside and let his Dad focus completely on the campaign, because a Guiliani Presidency is that important to him.
The father-son bond is undeniable.
4.
Rudy believes in open Government. For example, by announcing in a press conference that he was separating from his second wife, it shows that he has nothing to hide.
It would be refreshing to have a President who is open and honest with the people, unlike the cloak and dagger secrecy of Bill Clinton, who kept us in the dark on family matters.
We won't need a Ken Starr in a Rudy Giuliani White House!
5.
Rudy is a such a strong supporter of family values that he vowed to honor and support his cousin by marrying her.
6.
Some critics say his multiple attempts to squash criticism equates to a contempt of the 1st amendment and free speech. I say hogwash! This mentality is a tragic symptom of Giuliani Derangement Syndrome and should be rightfully dismissed.
Every parent knows how hard it is to accomplish chores when your children are constantly nagging. This is how Rudy clearly views the media and the co-equal branches of Government.
7.
Many people make a big deal about how Hillary would be the first woman President, and that Obama would be the first black President. What the liberal media hasn't mentioned, is that Rudy would be the first President to have a First Mistress™ in the White House.
8.
Rudy deeply believes in community outreach programs, and he proves it by providing his campaign contributors with no-bid Government contracts.
9.
You may have heard that the 9/11 first responders actually loathe Rudy. The simple explanation to that is, it's because they're disgruntled employees, of course.
First responders didn't have the opportunity to politically exploit the tragedy with press conferences, and explain how glorious of a job they were doing, so they're just jealous because Rudy had the guts to provide that type of leadership.
10.
Since Giuliani has no foreign policy experience whatsoever, he will surround himself with experts and serious people, like Cheney and Rumsfeld.
Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!
