Last year, in the wake of the controversial Walt Disney Company funded and ABC Network Production of "The Path to 9/11", I decided to boycott Walt Disney Company. That included boycotting ABC. Think Progress was very proactive in getting the message out that this was a very inflammatory, inaccurate portrayal of events that led to 9/11/2001 http://thinkprogress.org/...
Now, we learn that the Walt Disney Company is going to allow gays the privilege of experiencing a fairy tale wedding in front of Cinderella’s castle just like heterosexuals are allowed to have http://www.cnn.com/... . I cannot imagine anyone who has been boycotting Disney all of a sudden jumping for joy at this announcement.
I don’t know how many people realize that Cinderella’s castle is owned by the same company that bankrolled "The Path to 9/11" and doesn’t realize it’s own hypocrisy. I will continue boycotting the Walt Disney Company and ABC and as much of their conglomerate as I can possibly manage.
Every dollar you spend on a Walt Disney Company holding http://www.cjr.org/... further contributes to the double-talk and plutocracy (no offense Pluto) Mickey and Minnie Mouse unfortunately must endure.
There are several links to sources about this that speak to the issue better than I, including:

I've heard the arguments that boycotts don't work and hurt the people who work for these companies. Fair enough. But I also can choose where to spend my hard earned money and what programs I want to watch.
