For those that want to take action and exert pressure on advertisers on the "Imus in the Morning" program, which is produced by CBS Radio and simulcast on MSNBC.com, I created a partial list of advertisers of his radio program. I only listened to the last 90 minutes of the show today, so this list is not complete.
Whether or not you feel that Imus should be fired, or, you just want the advertisers to pressure him to elimiate racially, sexist and homophobic charged content from his radio program, please take a few minutes to send some emails or make a few phone calls to express your concern or outrage.
Please note, this is a basic list compiled from information gathered from their corporate websites. If anyone has better contact info, please post it in the comments.
Don Imus and his sidekicks on his "Imus in the Morning" show have a long history of racist, sexist and homophobic commentary. In the past they have been called on their behavior, they have apologized for their behavior and Imus has even pledged to Clarence Page in 2001 that his show would never again contain racist language. Yet, last week, Imus and his sidekicks insulted a team of hard working and successful female college basketball players, referring to them as "nappy headed hoes".
Everyone has the right to speak up and pressure media outlets and advertisers to stop supporting hateful, racist, sexist and homophobic speech. Below is a partial list of advertisers on the "Imus in the Morning" radio program.

For those concerned with this diverting attention from issues you feel that are more pressing, I'm sorry but I disagree. I think people here are more than capable of taking a few minutes out of their day to send some emails and make some phone calls and still be dedicated to other causes and battles.
