If only.
The frustration is overwhelming. Today we learn that a ranger who was with Pat Tilman when he died was ordered to lie by a higher-up.

WASHINGTON - An Army Ranger who was with Pat Tillman when he died by friendly fire said Tuesday he was told by a higher-up to conceal that information from Tillman's family.
"I was ordered not to tell them," U.S. Army Specialist Bryan O'Neal told the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
He said he was given the order by then-Lt. Col. Jeff Bailey, the battalion commander who oversaw Tillman's platoon.

If only Harry Reid or some prominent congressional democrat would say something like this in some national forum:
I am not at all surprised to learn of the lies in the Tilman case. From the start this administration has been riddled with mendacity. Frankly, I cannot think of a thing that they have said that is true. They rode into office on a carriage of deceptions and they’ve been true to form ever since. They sold their war on lies, the story they spun about Lynch was a lie, they lied to get the Medicare bill passed, they lied about outing a CIA agent, and about firing US attorneys, you name it they’ve lied about it. Nothing they say is true. Cannot think of a more incompetent or corrupt administration in our nation’s history. so my heart goes out to the Tilman family, but this does not surprise me at all. it's what we have come to expect.
Not only say, it, but say it and mean it and be prepared to document it.
If only.
