The Republican Party is a bigger propaganda machine than the Hitler propaganda machine. Reason Fox news, giving millions to news paper editors and CEOs; how? By tax cuts! The rich business man need no tax cut, they can always take their money out in the form of capital gains. CEOs and high paid executives do not have a means to take money out under capital gains. So by giving them a tax cut you have bought and paid for their loyalty. This is how they were able to get the tax cuts. Can you remember how the Republicans always used the word taxes to make it dirty and bad, I am shore you heard Tax and spend liberal, death tax, born free taxed to death, anyway by always using tax as a dirty word it produce a hatred against taxes.
Using analysis techniques first developed in the 1930s by the Institute for Propaganda Analysis, Conway, Grabe and Grieves.Name calling—giving something a bad label to make the audience reject it without examining the evidence;
and Testimonials—involving a respected (or disrespected) person endorsing or rejecting an idea or person.
PROPAGANDA the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person; ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause a public action having such an effect. (Webster's Collegiate Dictionary)
• First lets look at the Republican debate from Thursday, Every one tried to use Ronald Reagan’s Name as [
Testimonials—involving a respected (or disrespected) person endorsing or rejecting an idea or person.] Did you notice the old Republican standby taxes every one must hate taxes [Name calling—giving something a bad label to make the audience reject it without examining the evidence;]
All of them had to bring up taxes in a hated manor.
• Did you think any of them was guilty of this
[Glittering generalities—the opposite of name calling; 17 times they injected the name Ronald Reagan.]
I just could stand 45 min. then had to go regurgitate so I will have to let you decide if it was a brain washing or a debate, here is the list again so you don’t have to keep scrolling up and down.
• Name calling—giving something a bad label to make the audience reject it without examining the evidence;
• Glittering generalities—the opposite of name calling;
• Card stacking—the selective use of facts and half-truths;
Bandwagon—appeals to the desire, common to most of us, to follow the crowd;
Plain folks—an attempt to convince an audience that they, and their ideas, are "of the people";
transfer—carries over the authority, sanction and prestige of something we respect or dispute to something the speaker would want us to accept; and
Testimonials—involving a respected (or disrespected) person endorsing or rejecting an idea or person.
They left out fear so I am putting it in FEAR
Let us go back to the war and even some of this was used in the debate;
http://www.historians.org/...
But despite all Nazi cunning, the propaganda tricks and the creation of dazzling new symbols could not take the minds of the German people entirely off their troubles. The Nazis then cleverly drained away some of these resentments by finding scapegoats
—[minority groups against whom blame for difficulties could be charged. The trade unions were one scapegoat, the Versailles Treaty another, the Communists a third, and the democracies a fourth. But the Jew was the easiest target. The German people could blame all these "enemies" for their own state of affairs and thus seem to free themselves of fault.]
Perhaps if we substituted Labor unions, United Nations, Gays and liberals we would have the Hitler doctrine.
In the debate every Republican said we must not leave Iraq with out a victory as you will see how close to Nazis plan, the Republicans plan follows the Hitler plan, one could wonder, if 9/11 was a Republican plan or a lie maybe both.
[Democratic vs. Enemy PropagandaHitler himself, in Mein Kampf, laid down his rules for dictatorship. He stated the "principle of the whopping lie" and of the gullibility of the masses. If you are going to tell a lie, he said, and nobody doubts that he intended to, don’t tell a little one, because it will be recognized as a lie. Tell the biggest and most unlikely lie you can think of, keep on telling it, and the people will think it must be the truth and believe it. "The greater the lie, the more effective it is as a weapon," said the master of the alleged "master race."]
War Propaganda
The Nazis prepared for war from the moment Hitler came into power in 1933. In the feverish building up of German striking power, they had the support of the professional military men. The Nazis not only produced the weapons of war; they geared their economy for the strain of a future conflict. They carried on political intrigues to promote their purposes. Their propaganda machine had long been a going concern when Hitler felt ready to strike at Poland, the first step in an ambitious plan to lay the world at his feet.
Did you wonder why no one criticized the bush war plan now in effect? Maybe it was this!
"Der Führer," who exacts unquestioned obedience from his people. This "infallibility" that the Nazis have credited to Hitler is bluntly expressed in the words of Robert Ley, the director of the Nazi Labor Front. "Germany must obey like a well-trained soldier," he said. "The Führer, Adolf Hitler, is always right."]
To criticize Bush war plan would have been critical of the Republican propaganda machine, that is a no-no.
How does the propagandist use this tool? By making broad and positive statements. By presenting his statements in simple and familiar language. By refusing to admit, or even suggest, that there is another side to the question. Hitler’s brutal and direct suggestion that the Jews sold out the German people in World War I—the "stab in the back," the Nazi propagandists called it—is an example of this kind of propaganda. Another example is the repeated Nazi propagandist assertion that Prime Minister Churchill and President Roosevelt are "warmongers."]
Let’s rewrite this and change a few names and see if you heard it all or in part
How does the propagandist use this tool? By making broad and positive statements. By presenting his statements in simple and familiar language. By refusing to admit, or even suggest, that there is another side to the question. The Republicans brutal and direct suggestion that the Liberals sold out to the terrorist people in the War on terror and this is a "stab in the back," is what the Republican propagandists called it, this is just example of this kind of propaganda. Another example is the repeated Republican propagandist assertion that al-Qaida, Bin Laden, Taliban, Saddam Hussein and Iran are "terrorist mongers and are coming to America to kill us."
[There must be a reasonably fertile field to nourish the propagandist’s seed before it can be expected to ripen into attitudes and opinions.
Men and women are not so easily swayed as some who fear As one writer has pointed out, if the propaganda is not in harmony with the individual and his desire, it is likely to be met by cynical skepticism. The propaganda of Hitler, for example, fitted in with a German desire for supremacy; To give an illustration, the American attitude toward Germany was not bitterly hostile in the early months of World War I. But when the Lusitania was torpedoed in May 1915, with loss of 128 American lives, anger against the Central Powers mush roomed overnight.]
9/11 do you still believe Bin laden and the Taliban got all those Saudis and trained them as pilots maybe it was a bigger plan than put out by the MSM.
[No American should need to be reminded that the isolationists lost most of their following—and a good deal of their own conviction—within a matter of hours after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.]
Ah-ha 9/11
]
To some speakers and writers, propaganda is an instrument of the devil. They look on the propagandist as a person who is deliberately trying to hoodwink us, who uses half-truths, who lies, who suppresses, conceals, and distorts the facts. According to this idea of the word, the propagandist plays us for suckers.]
This is how I feel about Propaganda. Some of Republican try’s at making Americans love the war. Does the following little story show the Republican trying to make martyr of Pat Tillman or Jessica Lynch.
[http://www.calvin.edu/academic/cas/gpa/hess3.htm
Background: Horst Wessel was one of the "martyrs" of the Nazi movement, though the circumstances of his death were not particularly edifying. He wrote what became the "Horst Wessel Song," the Nazi Party's anthem. Rudolf Hess gave this speech on 13 June 1936 at the launching of a training ship named after Wessel. It is an example of how the Nazis built their pantheon of heroes.
So that he could spread the faith in National Socialism to those whose lives were hard, he gave up his middle class life and lived among the workers, among the unemployed.
So that he could show his readiness to give his life for the idea, he carried high the flag at the head of his unit through the Berlin Communist neighborhoods, though he knew that the Red Front had determined to kill him.
Because Horst Wessel was one of National Socialism's most effective fighters, they wanted him dead. But Horst Wessel's death only gave him greater strength.
Shot by the leaders of the Marxist revolution, Horst Wessel became a symbol of the German Revolution, and a powerful model for German revolutionaries.]
I urge you to read Proclamation of 22 June 1941: Hitler justifies invading Russia. at http://www.calvin.edu/... to see how much the Bush and the Republicans reason for invading Afghanistan and Iraq. I would like to post it but the article is getting to long now.
[
England formerly destroyed Spain through many wars. As early as 1936, according to the testimony of the American General Wood to a committee of the American House of Representatives, Churchill had said that Germany was becoming too strong again, and that it therefore had to be destroyed.
In summer 1939, England thought that the time had come to renew its attempts to destroy Germany by a policy of encirclement. Their method was to begin a campaign of lies. They declared that Germany threatened other peoples. They then provided an English guarantee of support and assistance, next, as in the World War, let them march against Germany.
Thus between May and August 1939, England succeeded in spreading the claim throughout the world that Germany directly threatened Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Bessarabia, and even the Ukraine. Some of these nations allowed themselves to be misled, accepting the promises of support that were offered, and thereby joined the new attempt to encircle Germany.]
Just by changing a few words to Iraq, Saddam Hussein, Bin Laden, terrorist, and Taliban. And after reading a few of the Hitler propaganda machine teachings, I really think , That the great Republican Think tanks, like the Coors and Ford foundation are making up the Republican talking points by using the old Germany propaganda ideas. Could they have rewrote Mein Kampf, changing a few words and making it in to Republican by laws.
I would like to know one MSM newscaster that fits the following, journalist of today, describe in the following text box
[The journalist of today has a responsibility to report facts as accurately, objectively, and disinterestedly as is humanly possible. The newspaperman who respects himself and his work—the average newspaperman—-accepts this responsibility. The honest, self- Of course propaganda does bet into the press. Sometimes it is presented in the guise of impartial fact because the newspaperman is not sufficiently trained—or smart enough—to recognize it for what it is]
Would you sell out your pride in being a good smart news person for a lot of money? Some would, for some it was a hell of a lot of money it could reach in to the millions for some MSM CEOs I don’t know what a propaganda pusher makes Bill O'Reilly ‘Chris Matthew, Ann Coulter’ Rush Limbaugh , Norah O'Donnell, Sean Hannity, Gibson, Gibson, Lou Dobbs Larry King and the one I can’t stand Beck, but I bet it is enough to keep the lower paid propaganda pushers in line. All the lower paid pusher know that if they keep up lying and telling half truths they can be moved up to being a high paid propaganda pusher
