Hi all...
at the local CBS affiliate in Sacramento only 7% of people think that Rush's "Barack the Magic Negro" song is racist.
I think the righties have already been getting to them, so why don't we equalize the numbers a little bit?
The poll itself is here.
We can't let this filth go unchallenged.
(H/T to terrapin station84's diary on the subject below.)
Also, feel free to drop a supportive comment in their talkback section - it's overwhelmingly populated by dittoheads. A sample:
You would like nothing better than to portray Rush as a racist. IF ANYONE IS A RACIST IT IS YOU THE MEDIA AND SOME OF THE HIGH RANKING AFRICAN AMERICANS SUCH AS SHARPTON AND JACKSON"
The article on the subject notes that Rush has been referring to Barack Obama consistently as "the magic negro" on his program for a month now, all the while deflecting criticism by claiming that the song originated in LA with the 'liberal media'. Nice try, Rush - we're on to your hateful racist agenda.
