Two of the best bloggers in the Bay State Blogosphere - and I - have endeavored to bring the great people of Massachusetts and everyone else (whether they like it or not!) the best progressive political podcast on Massachusetts politics of the day. Out of that work came LeftAhead!
Each week's episode goes live Tuesday at 7:30pm and runs for around an hour. It's available to download (for free!) no more than an hour after we finish. You can also subscribe on Itunes, if that's the way you like to go.
Tonight's episode is a doozy. The first Constitutional Convention is tomorrow, where there's a big proposed amendment to ban marriage equality that only needs 25% support to get on the ballot. We've brought on special-guest Susan Ryan-Vollmar, Editor-in-Chief of New England's largest GLBT newspaper, Bay Windows.

Just who are all these people behind LeftAhead?
Lynne from LeftinLowell is an expert on Greater Lowell politics, was an extremely active Deval Patrick campaign volunteer, has some of the best knowledge on the MA-05 race and was one of the original Bay State bloggers. She also hosts WUML's Friday Thinking Out Loud, interviewing candidates and giving some good-old fashioned talk radio news, npr-style.
Mike from Marry in Massachusetts is one of the leading pro-GLBT voices in Massachusetts, from his excellent blog. He routinely hits the top of the chart on LeftyBlogs and has a solid background in journalism.
Ryan from Ryan's Take has been blogging for well over a year now, focusing on all sorts of issues surrounding Massachusetts politics. He's built up an audience primarily based on his coverage of Governor Deval Patrick, media-critiques and frequent glbt focus. He's also the only South Coast blogger he knows about.
Every week we also host some of the best guests around - people who really know what's going on.
So, check out the site - LeftAhead - for our podcasts, blogs updating everything discussed each week and lots of other goodies.
