This song was written by my Great Uncle Casper Nathan in 1919.
Picture a Mother or Sweetheart
Proud though the worst has been told
Picture that scene,
what it must mean,
When a blue service star turns gold
True, it's about honorable sacrifice, but on this day, let us mourn the loss in a war that has cost us our most scared Name.
On this Mother's Day, let us remember the moms who have lost sons and daughters whether civiian or military due to the stupidity of the human race. and, the moms with children serving
the grandmas who will never hug thier grandchildren again becauseof the stupidty of war
On this day, let us thank and Honor the Women and men involved in stopping hte waste of our current generation. Code Pink and Ragging Grannies
