I've received good word from draft organizers - who in turn heard from a source very close to the former Vice-President - that Al was "flabbergasted" by the level of organization and support that he saw in Los Angeles yesterday.
Already there are over a hundred news outlets that have reported about the stop in L.A., most of which mention the overwhelming support Gore received to run in '08. Dkos User Delphine, who attended the signing last night, also noted the huge showing the Draft Gore people put together - even calling it overbearing. While I certainly wasn't there to attest to whether or not that's true, a draft movement is supposed to do exactly that - rally the public to urge your candidate to run...how bringing banners, t-shirts, lapels, and petitions could be described as overbearing, I don't know. And just as a clarification, nothing was sold - only donations were encouraged by the Draft organizers.
What I do know is that there will be similar showings in DC, NYC, Corte Madeira, and Chicago. Here's the NY info:

I should apologize for the brief diary - I just thought some people would like to know that Gore is most certainly taking notice and may be realizing that there are a lot more people out there that want him to run than he initially thought.
