I have seen George Bush as a coward and a schoolyard bully for a long ass time. The congress is that kid the bully picks on the most. In November the kid made his first move to stand up for himself. The bully has his fists out and is confused and blustering at the kid because he stood up for himself. We, the public, are on the sidelines hoping the kid stands up for himself and takes on the bully so he will quit preying on everyone. The kid is standing there, doesn't know what to do, is crying. Will he pee his pants and get beat in the next instance or follow through and put the bully in his place?
"The Republicans want to obstruct Congress. Here's the recipe." "Hesitation and indecision never won the public's support for anything." "Democrats keep challenging the weakest administration since Jimmy Carter, and incredibly, prove to be even weaker."
As the approval of Congress slides I wonder, has Congress a spine? Or have they already pissed their pants?
