well, actually I can't answer that question for you.   But maybe I can entice you.

If you go to yearlykos, you might get to meet all kinds of interesting people.   Some of them will be blog celebrities.  Some of them will be real celebrities.   You might be able to have your picture taken with them.  They might be able to have their pictures taken with you.

Come along and see some examples of what I experienced in Las Vegas last year.

How about Joe Trippi?

Or seeing a group that contains OrangeClouds115 on the left?

You might see nyceve talking to Maryscott O'Connor:

How about getting your picture taken with General Wesley Clark?

Or see Gina make her remarks to open the convention:

You might meet mcjoan and Hunter:

or see George Lakoff signing books:

You could get your picture taken with Bill Richardson:

Or meet the Energize America team, from right to left  Jerome, Mrs. Devilstower, Devilstower, George Kariannis, and the inimitable (Adam) a siegel:

You could see Markos getting interviewed by the NY Times:  Adam Nagourney and MoDo:

or find yourself in a picture between Larry Johnson and Joe Wilson, with the wonderful Navajo rounding out the foursome:

You could listen as Mudcat Saunders told Markos why the Dems needed the South:

or get your picture taken with Fighting Dem candidates, who will run again, like Charlie Brown from California:

and Eric Massa from New York:

You know some people will be back:  this is Vic and bonddad, two of those who will be on the panel on the middle class squeeze

You might see Major Danby, and cedwyn,  and ? ? ?

Oh, and I actually did some work.
I ran an education panel
That's Jamie Vollmer on my right,
and Tom Vilsack on my left.
Check out my tie if you can:

You could see emptywheel posing with cs kendrick:

later she roped me into going to dinner at the Bellagio, where I was in the presence of blogosphere luminaries - among those in attendance were Glenn Greenwald, Jane Hamsher and Murray Waas -

and we even kept our inner bloggers in line, as you can see in this picture with Pastor Dan:

yearlykos is about the people, the chance to get to know those whom you've read, and others who have read you (if you post).  It was a chance to make new friendships, learn one heck of a lot, and deepen ties with some we already new.

I obviously had fun, but these pictures do not come close to showing how much.  They barely scratch the surface of my memories. That is why I am going again.  I do hope I see y'all there?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from your hotlist?
Are you sure you want to remove your recommendation? You can only recommend a diary once, so you will not be able to re-recommend it afterwards.
