Short one here, but incredibly sweet.
There's an amazing piece of news hiding in plain sight in the Moonie Times article that references the Suffolk University poll (500 respondents, MoE: 4.38%), no doubt shadowed by the stunner that Gore leads Clinton and all others in NH.
Our own Sprintin' Sununu, he of the infamous "stop complaining about health care" quote, he who refuses to acknowledge the human influence of climate change, he who continues to enable Bush on an invasion that is deeply unpopular in the Granite State...oh forget it. There's just too much; head on over to Blue Hampshire's Sununu tag for the sorry tale of John E.
Anyway, the John Sununu whom everyone presumes to be one the most vulnerable Senators in the nation for 2008, has now entered BushLeague zone levels of support (emphasis mine):
Sen. John Sununu, New Hampshire Republican, appears to be in trouble, with only 31 percent in the poll saying he deserves re-election and 47 percent saying someone else should get his seat.
And the best part: the right-wing NH Union Leader couldn't even bring itself to report that part of the poll.
It was said that the two happiest people in New Hampshire last November, when both Congressional seats, the governor's office, the executive council, the state house,, and state senate, all turned blue, were Senators Sununu and Gregg, neither of whom were up for re-election.
It looks like happy days are not here again for John E. two Novembers hence.
