In Part 1  Skulnick introduced us to Steve Marchand, who hopes to replace John Sununu in the Senate race in NH.  You can give to Marchand here

Steve Marchand will be here, on dailyKos, starting at 4 PM, Eastern time.  Let's make sure he has LOTS of money by then!  Lots and lots!  Give give give!

So, who's Sununu?

More below the fold

Sununu is a Republican.

He's endorsed by  the Club for Growth

He is one of only three senators to get 100% on CFG's scorecard

He blames Iraq failure on the troops

Elise has a bunch more, but there are a lot of diaries to come, and I'd like to split up the dirt.  So, here's some stuff that I got elsewhere:

Sununu beat Shaheen last time by 51-47.  But Marchand is better than Shaheen, and NH is going BLUE (see below).

Sununu opposes bans on assault weapons, he voted for drilling in the Alaskan National Wildlife Reserve, he opposes Roe v. Wade..... He's a bad man!

Can Sununu lose?  You bet he can!  NH went 50% for Kerry over Bush in 2004.  And, although it went for Bush over Gore (48-47) if you add in the Nader voters (4%) Bush should have lost, then, too.  The huge NH House has 229 Democrats, 179 Republicans and 20 who are both or are independent --- in 2004, though, it was 253 Repubs and 147 Democrats.... NH is going BLUE!

The NH Senate has 14 Democrats and 10 Republicans --- in 2004, it was 16 Repubs and 10 Democrats...... NH is going BLUE!

In 2004, NH was represented by two Republicans (Bradley and Bass) in the US House.  Now? Two Democrats! Hodes and Shea Porter!   NH is going BLUE!

and neither of the US reps who LOST was nearly as conservative as Sununu! (Bradley got National Journal liberalism numbers in the 40s, Bass in the upper 40s and 50s.

Update [2007-6-28 15:36:24 by plf515]:  And now? Bush is at 14% in NH! (see this poll

Can you help Sununu lose?  You bet you can!

Give!  Give! Give!  It's EASY!  You can do it right here!

if you've got a dime, give a dime.  If you've got more, give more.  It all counts, it all adds up, and then when Sununu loses, you  can say

I was a part of that!

The rest of these diaries will be done as per the following table

wouldn't it be nice to say that?

So give!

Also, please rec. this diary so that everyone else gives, too.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
