If you hurry, you can catch Tweety in the plaza, as Christopher Hitchens rips Al Sharpton to little shreds.
You can vilify Tweety all you want, but he's putting up a Reverend, however execrable, against a much reviled apologist for Iraq invasion, and Hitchens is handing Al his butt on a plate.
Many many comments occur to me as this long deserved discussion of the foolishness and danger of religion in politics and daily life lurches to its conclusion, but one thing is clear: Tweety is encouraging the change in the ZeitGeist from faithist to evidentiary.
I hope we here at DailyKos can follow Tweety's lead, and continue to discuss matters of faith as the extremely important questions they are, since we're in Iraq because God guided our "leader" there, among other things.
