Did anyone actually take Rahm Emmanuel's amendment to defund the office of Vice President seriously?
Although the media accurately defined the defeat in the House as a narrow margin (209-217), the fact they curiously left out is that there were 24 Democrats who crossed the aisle to help the GOP vote it down!
Curious to see if any were my state reps, I took the time compile the list of Democrats who apparently believe that Dick Cheney deserves their further support:

I'll leave it to individual readers to further analyze why Mr. Emmanuel pushed this to a vote knowing that there's already a serious bill of impeachment proposed by Rep. Kucinich of Ohio. My own theory is that anyone supporting Dick Cheney is more interested in prolonging war profiteering than anything else.
