The BBC is currently reporting that two men of Asian appearance have driven a blazing Jeep Cherokee car into the terminal at Glasgow airport in Scotland.
One eyewitness reports that a man poured petrol over himself and the interior of the car, made two attempts to drive through automatic doors at the entrance to the terminal, then got out of the car with his clothes on fire. These were extinguished by airport staff and the man then fought with them. A member of the public, named as Stephen Clarkson by the BBC floored the man, who was then overpowered by police.
Eyewitnesses also report that the men threw molotov cocktails at airport staff.
Two men have been arrested by Strathclyde police and BBC News 24 is now reporting that one man has already been questioned.
