That's it, I've had it! Sweet Mother of the Saviour, this is a presidential campaign, not freakin' daycare! I am beyond pi**ed to read yet again that John Solomon, that "great" writer for WaPo, has attempted to dis John Edwards about his hair. As my wonderful Dad would say, "Jesus Connecticut Christ!" Grrrrr.............
Note to Solomon: There are 47 million people living in poverty in this country. There are almost 4000 Americans dead in Iraq. 37 million people in this country don't have healthcare. Are you talking about that, Mr. Solomon??
While we're on it, are you talking about what Hillary paid for flowers for a freaking fundraiser?? For her virtually uncontested Senate campaign?? $6500??? Right here Mr. Solomon.
I'm sick to death of all of you "pundits" who say John Edwards can't possibly care about the poor and needy since he lives in a big house, is wealthy, and is a trial attorney. Does anyone reading this remember hearing about Franklin Roosevelt? He was rich, he lived in a big house, and he cared about those less fortunate. Not only did he care, he did something about it. Much like John Edwards is doing and will do.
Yep, I'm peeved to the max. I'm priveleged to know a couple who care, who don't have to be doing this, but are because this is their passion, thus their mission.
All y'all "pundits" and naysayers can kiss... well I won't go there, but you get my drift.
It's beyond enough already. This is a Presidential campaign, it's not here to serve up great sound bites for the nightly drivel, to compete with Paris Hilton's release from jail. Wake up already!
