Many of you probably read Vyan's diary about Rachael Maddow and Michelle Malkin posit on the poitical shakeout from the Minneapolis bridge collapse. before I go further, kudos to Maddow, she rocks. So eloquent and totally to the point.

Michelle Malkin and her irresponsible, vicious, and totally predictable position (read: nihilist, self-serving opinion)are not worth my time disecting. But go into the conversation with "democratic strategist" Julie Roginsky and you will find a new muse for your "typical DailyKos hate" (that's read: justified outrage).

I don't know how to post a video link yet, so check out Vyan's diary

Let's waltz together past the jump, shall we?

OK, I understand some of us would accept an invitation to Faux to use their 50-gazillion Megawatt stick as a platform to distribute our message, no matter how much they will try to skew it. But using the Factor to attack other democrats is unconscionable.

So just who is this Julie Roginsky? She currently works for Rep. Steven Rothman from New Jersey, currently seeking a US Senate seat there.

So, I asked myself, why would some relatively obscure 'democratic' campaign functionary maliciously wield Faux like a murder weapon against another democrat? On first blush, Rothman's platform makes him sound like the kind of democratic congressman I typically would agree with. I then wondered if he was endorsing anybody for president in 08' already.

Open disclosure time: while its still too damn for early for anyone to have to decide, I'm leaning towards Obama for reasons I will elaborate on in another diary. This is my very first diary and I'm trying to keep it on topic (for people that want to squabble about whose candidate is the prettiest, the topic here is not using Fox against each other)

WTF, Julie Roginsky?

Is this something she decided to do on her own? Is it something Rothman asked her to do? Is it something that originated from the Obama camp?

Having debates about policy, even if they turn into squabbles/pie fights, is part of the fun, but letting Murdoch get off on our infighting should be off limits.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
