Let me the first to say it loud and clear.
George Bush ordered Alberto Gonzales to the hospital bed of then AG John Ashcroft.
Bush ordered Gonzales to go get a signature from a sedated man just out of surgery, in order to continue to illegally spy on American citizens.
When he continued to be questioned under oath by Senator Schumer, Gonzales said as much:
"I was there on behalf of the President"
"I was there on behalf of the President"
"I was there on behalf of the President"
When Larry King asked Dick Cheney if he was the one that sent Gonzales to the hospital Dick answer:
"No recollection"
George Bush ordered Gonzales to the hospital bed of John Ashcroft !!!
I am afraid that the left wing noise machine is broken if we cannot get this accusation into the MSM and thus into the conversations of Americans.
This is something that is truly scandalous that everyone can understand and clearly see was painfully wrong. It is the kind of thing that even pisses Conservatives off. The sordid details are already known, the backstory has been written, the whistleblowers and opposition have gone on record. Yet I rarely hear the question "Did Bush order Gonzales to the hospital?" Or "Who ordered Gonzales to the hospital?" Let alone an accusation.
It has been noted that one reason no scandal has really stuck to this administration is the fact that the lies and criminal acts come with such regularity and quickness we all move on to the next big one. If the accusation is not repeatedly leveled, if the question "Did Bush order Gonzales to the hospital?" is rarely asked then we of the left wing noise machine are truly remiss.
