Tomorrow, John Edwards will start his second Fighting for One America Bus Tour, this time in New Hampshire. And, once again, I will be MASHING IT UP. Go below the fold for more information.
Each and every stop will be accompanied by YouTube videos from the campaign and from citizen vloggers - they will all be added to the Mashup. Each and every stop will be accompanied by Flickr photo sets by the campaign - they will all be added to the Mashup. The Iowa bus tour ended up with well over 50 videos, slide shows, and other "stuff" on the mashup. This time, I've done my best to give you a timeline of where the campaign will be and when (the blue line on the pic above). The tour starts at the big arrow and ends at the rally. Along the way, each bus symbol represents a public event with the complete information about the event included on the map icon (click each icon).
BTW, if you know a better way of doing this and getting it saved, let me know. I did driving directions between the points, but it disappears when you try to link back to it.
If you are on the ground in New Hampshire, send me an email (ropetersonATgmailDOTcom) and I'll be sure to add your photos and/or YouTube videos to the MASHUP.
Now, for the purpose of the tour. If you went to the Iowa Mashup above, you might have been hard-pressed to figure out what stops were when and what the focus was without watching all the videos, which is why I've labeled each stop in Chronological order this time AND given you the blue timeline. Each day has a theme, here are the themes for the NH Bus Tour.
Fighting for One America Bus Tour - N.H. Day 1
Thursday, August 23rd: Achieving Energy Independence and Halting Global Warming Through a New Energy Economy
Fighting for One America Bus Tour - N.H. Day 2
Friday, August 24th: Making Health Care Affordable and Universal
Fighting for One America Bus Tour - N.H. Day 3
Saturday, August 25th: Rewarding Work and Strengthening the Middle Class
Fighting for One America Bus Tour - N.H. Day 4
Sunday, August 26th: Taking Responsibility for Ending the War in Iraq
Each morning I'll be posting an update diary which will have all the previous day's videos, pictures, and anything else I think to add (newspaper articles???). So, I guess there is only one more thing to discuss. $2300.
$2300 is how much I would like to give to the Edwards primary fund, but with my current state of affairs there is no way that is possible. So, I'm asking all you to donate one Starbucks Venti Mocha's worth of money to my ActBlue page in support of John Edwards and in support of MASHING it up.
Update [2007-8-21 15:21:3 by chuckles1]:: You all have brought me within $60 of $1000 on my Act Blue page. I hope before this diary scrolls all the way off the list I can get another 6 donations of $10 each for MASHING it up.
