After a lengthy email discussion with Markos and five months later I was fortunate enough to be reinstated. I want to issue a formal apology to my fellow kossacks for my unbecoming behavior. Daily Kos was like a second home to me and in the past I let my frustrations get the best of me.
I recognize that I will have to work to rebuild friendships that were lost because of my past actions. It was tough to see my name associated with Francis Holland, another former kossacker who was banned for bad behavior. However, primary presidential politics can sometimes become an unyielding sport and for those of us who are ill prepared, as was I, then you are guaranteed to fall victim to the Francis Holland or the former lovingj syndrome. But for those of us who go on to become the Geeksques, the Tomps, the Neuvoliberals, the Elises, the Sarahlanes, among others . . . then you find that at the end of the tunnel is a bright light called progressive unity.
I am grateful to Kos to be allowed to rejoin the place I like to call a second home. I am aware that my name may not bring the fondest memories for some but with time I hope to earn my place again as a proud Kossack.
Thank You.
