President Bush hits a new low in Kentucky.
President Bush has the lowest approval rating of any president ever tested by The Courier-Journal's Bluegrass Poll, according to its most recent findings.
And it found that much of the dissatisfaction appears to be rooted in his handling of the war in Iraq.
Apparently the return to success hasn't soaked in yet. We haven't gotten word that the surge is working.
flip it
Fifty-eight percent of the 812 adults surveyed Sept. 13-18 said they disapprove of how Bush has done his job. Only 40 percent said they approved, while 2 percent were undecided. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.
I added emphasis to that to point out that there aren't many fence-sitters in this state. Although 17% are still undecided about McConnell, who is polling favorably with 54% approval ratings.
You want to see a typical Bush and McConnell supporter?
