I'm, soo tired of America not admitting to what it really is, there are so many
problems with how our government works and how it does business, or takes care of a problem it may have, it is becoming hard to ignore the fact that our government stinks at, well, being a government.. and frankly we suck at standing for those very beliefs that we say we still are made of.
- Land of economic prosperity and generosity = We do not take care of those who are hurting and suffering- There are approximately 444,000 to 842,000 homeless people in America in 2000, and that was before Katrina hit, which has left a total of 24,000 more Americans
without a home up to today, TWO whole years after the hurricane finally hit, and we still cant help these people. not only that, but 6.8 million Americans are unemployed in the U.S. as of April 2007...it is time for our government to step in a help out in this social crisis called poverty.
- Understanding and loving = War- war has always been around and will always be around, yet when it comes to America there should be other options besides war. first off War should never be based on hate towards a people, war should not take place right after a traumatic event and be swung to the American people using that traumatic event. When we talk about war from a U.S. stand point we are talking about high tech warfare with precises measurements and advanced pin point accuracy, If this is true, then tell me this, what accounts for the 72,596 – 79,187 innocent civilian deaths caused by gunfire and bombing from U.S. and collation forces? this brings me to my last point...America is simply Government sponsored, "civilized" Terrorism. which is exactly what Saddam Hussein got hung for...except he...what?...didn't cover it up so well. America, if it be so civilized and just, should give its people more options than violence and brutality. It was just announced that Iraq is fighting back though, trying to kick out a group of mercenary soldiers privately funded by the U.S. government for killing a large number of civilians intentionally.
- Land Of The Free = """freedom"""- when you hear this word you think happy happy thoughts, yet in America it has became quite clear that this word is loosing its meaning. after the attacks on 9/11 we gave our rights up out of fear and ignorance. when the patriot act was passed we lost a lot of rights we hold true...nothing is your own anymore like it used to be, From books you check out to credit card purchases, money transfers to medications, your activities are now subject to federal surveillance. Uncle Sam now has a blank check to search and pry—all in the name of security. and that pure fact that Bush was given the power to by pass congress to declare War...this has never happened before and is ridiculous when you think that under this administration, the constitution means nothing.
Now when you read this i know your thinking that there is nothing you can do, and maybe there isn't, but just watch out...keep your eyes open, because the things that are going on in our country are real, real dangerous to your individual rights as a human. its time to take our country back, its time to not let ourselves be fooled, and its time to not let them use our emotions and grief of one day in our history to rule our lives and kill innocent people, they must be stopped, because this may turn into something way worse than Vietnam...but i don't think we will riot and complain, because none of us care enough.
This is your country, and it is being run by a group of dictators...look up the word Oligarchy...it has America written all over it.
