The economy is doing great right Bush? Weirton Steel has announced that it will be laying off 800 workers and shutting down one blast furnace, permanently. As I said the other day look at the small towns if you want a gauge n the economy. Now Weirton West Virginia is not a real small town, but it is less than half the size of Pittsburgh.
Located in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, the City of Weirton is nestled among the hills of the Ohio River Valley. Weirton lies in an area commonly referred to as the Tri-State area, and is in close proximity to many locations in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Weirton is noted for having the eighth largest integrated steel producer in Weirton Steel.

My Take on the Riots
Why I Feel The Protest Maybe Taking Place
First let me say I don't condone the rioting that is taking place. With that said, I can understand some what, why it is happening.
The west is not helping acting like a little child. You know the one, they find what pushes your buttons and continue to do so until, well you see what can happen.
All week long we have been hearing about the riots being over cartoons that were published in a Danish news paper. I feel that it goes deeper than that, much deeper.
There have been rumors flying that counties have been placing agents in amongst the protesters to keep the tensions high. Wether this is true or not I can't say, but a story on Prison Planet says they have evidence.
One of the things that has me starting to believe that the Bush Administration has a little something to do with this, or at least has a vested interest in seeing it escalate, is the statement buy Condoleezza Rice yesterday at a press conference. Story
"I have no doubt that Iran and Syria have gone out of their way to inflame sentiments and have used this for their own purposes," Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told reporters yesterday. "The world ought to call them on it."
Earlier in the day Bush's comments on the situation also did nothing to help cool the already heated situation. When he denounced the riots, but said nothing about the cartoons that supposedly started the riots.
"We reject violence as a way to express discontent with what may be printed in a free press," Bush said.
What a moron, he could have said something to the effect of,
The cartoons may have been done in bad taste, but that happens from time to time with the freedom of expression.
I feel that you probably have 40 to 60% that truly are outraged at the depiction of their God in what they feel are unflattering cartoons. And the others are there for the chaos, and help it along.
I do though understand why they are upset over the things that have fueled this to the point of this major explosion. The Muslims live their religion unlike most of the western religions. To the Muslims it is a 24-7-365 day a year following. Whereas the western religious followers see it as a Sunday religion. For five days they do what is needed to get by Friday and Saturday is "Me Time" and on Sunday give an hour or two to their God. Whereas I said before, Muslims live their religion, and live for their God.
I really thought this might happen when the Karon was desecrated in Guatanamo Bay.
So did these cartoons start the riots? As I said earlier, it goes deeper than that, just look at the history of the past four years. Then look beyond that. ABA
