We don't need to change the law, we need to change the way the law is implemented

."

In making his "State of Economy" speech today, Bush made the quote noted above in speaking about Sarbanes's-Oxley.

I thought it was a great insight into his approach to his entire presidency, and his respect, or make that disrespect for the law.

Don't change the law, just ignore it.

Don't change the law, just add a signing statement saying the law doesn't apply to you.

Don't change the law, just suppress information, so no-one knows that you are not following the law.
The war, Scooter's trial. Actually almost everything the administration has done in the last 6 years falls under this category.

Don't change the law, just circumvent it.
shirah's diary today is a great example of this.

and let's not forget all those federal prosecutors out looking for work.

Until we, as a people, decide enough is enough this is going to continue.

I haven't shown up at a demonstration yet, and I thought I could ride out the next two years, but everyday it's getting harder and harder to watch the charade continue. I'm reaching the point, where two years is too long.

Don't change the law, implement it. Impeach now.
