An ad I made

Hello guys, this is my first posting on dKos. Anyway I was bored today so I made an ad about this Rudy quote:

"Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do."

This is total bullshit, so I couldn't afford to pass it up.

Since I'm thinking Rudy is probably going to get the GOP nom, these might come in handy later. What do you think? Is it good? Bad? Should I take an art class?

  Remiscent of a font The New Yorker uses, or perhaps it's the same font.

  I think there are 6 different fonts in the ad, which may be too many. Personally, I'd stick to 1 or 2, but it's a matter of personal taste.

  use swearing in an ad.

  If you are going to claim fact checking, use traditional newspapers, not new media.

  Headlines and subheads should be no longer than two lines. The shorter line should be the second line to create an inverted triangle. This leads the reader's eye to the next text block.

  Use two font families, if you need emphases, use the italic, bold faces of those fonts.

  Pick a focal point. Right now the text is competing with the image.
