Packs of dogs....

Wed Oct 10, 2007 at 11:55:19 AM PDT

Even Domestic dogs can become vicious when they travel in a pack.

When domestic dogs attack domestic animals, they may injure or kill several, but they seldom consume their victims. Rather, they leave the impression that they were involved in vicious play rather than an attempt to obtain food. The most diagnostic characteristic of injuries caused by dogs is usually the slashing and biting of prey animals over much of their bodies.

In the past couple days I have oft thought of this. When mention of the RW attack in the US on the Frost family comes up.

Really, the RW blogosphere are no better than a pack of dogs attacking in the sick and perverted version of pack dogs who go after sheep, small pets and small children.

What would happen to what was once a human being to isolate them from any empathy they may have had at one time?

Nature, nurture? Politics? Have they watched so much TV that they think all is a game? That those who still feel caring towards their fellow humanity are seen as weak, to be played and toyed with until their wounds drive them to the ground, where they bleed quietly until they breathe no more?

One of the main players in the pack attack on the Frost family is Michelle Malkin. Such a case in self loathing would confound psychiatrists. She is in support of internment camps. Her family emigrated to the US, but she would like to close the borders now. (she was born in the US when her parents were there on a work Visa. ) If anyone knows of past scandals with this woman, they also know shes a rabid hypocrite. She posts others personal information on her own site, and then screams blue murder when the same happens to her. (Note: the left wing punished its own over that, there was no such repercussions from the RW for her)

She takes the current Republican view that anyone who needs help can rot, or, be attacked. Like a sick game with no emotion beyond a self gratification that most would correctly label as sadism.

Universal health care: That's a real stickler for that type. They would have anyone who cannot afford health insurance or health care costs be impoverished. Living on the street.......Or just dead.

How does it make their lives better to create a new level in the current class system? A new class that cannot afford to contribute to the economy, that cannot afford to educate their children? How does it help them to force people to choose between food, and electricity? Why does it cause them so much pain to  accept that if everyone is healthy and happy, then society as a whole is healthy and happy?

How does it help them, to create a third world existence within the borders of the US? How does creating poverty where there needs to be none, make them anymore fulfilled in life?

There are also the Fundamentalist Christian Republicans.

I myself, am not a Christian. But I do appreciate the intent of the Jesus in the bible. His written words and deeds did not support what these people do in word and deed.

Causing harm to others as part of some sick game?

I think Jesus would even weep into his hands at the heartless acts of viciousness being perpetrated by his supposed "followers".

My own philosophy, is Harm none. But great harm is being done to many; with each denial of a medical claim so that health care becomes a commodity for the rich. To each child who drops out of school or cannot read a book, and to every child who doesn't have enough to eat. To the elderly who cannot afford medications, and to those who will lose everything as a result of an unregulated lending system.

Harm is to soldiers fighting a phony war, who return to face their demons on their own, at the detriment of themselves, and their families and friends.

Harm, is when people lose hope.

How much harm has the Republican party and their packs of pet attack dogs caused?

The masters at the top of that particular food chain get richer, and when something or someone threatens their place, they send out the pack.

But I wonder if the pack understands that the crumbs they get under the table are less than they would have if everyone had food on their table? That by harming everyone who may be in need for a short time, they are causing themselves to be forever static, and at that lowly place where the scraps are all they shall eat?

Most of the money, is held by that top 1%.

How many Malkins and Redhaters will get into the top 1% income bracket? They know they are just good dogs don't they? They are just being used for whatever purpose they serve to the top income bracket. When they outlive their usefulness, they will be tossed aside like so much trash.

Here in Canada as well, the top gets richer. Steve would love so much for us to become a theocracy based Feudal system. Just like Bush's and Cheney's vision for the US.

And the pack's of dogs will continue to do their masters bidding.

Can they be rehabilitated? Or have they tasted too much blood?

  •  Well said pale cold. (5+ / 0-)

These people have a pack mentality. If the alpha dog says jump off a cliff, they will follow in glee. Makes no sense to me. It worrys me that so much hate is alive and well in the US.  I don't see that yet in the Canadian People. I hope I never do!

    •  Someday, (5+ / 0-)

someone's gonna bite. They put out people's addresses and phone numbers on the internet. Malkin personally went out to the Frosts' property to harass them. Comments on the blogs advocate physically harming them - somebody reported that there was a "suggestion" that someone should molest the children.

So, when one (or more) of their lunatic cult followers kills someone will Malkin and her ilk be prosecuted as accessories and/or conspirators? Never - with Bush/Cheney in the WH and controlling the DOJ and all the other agencies - especially since they're no doubt cheering them on.

      •  We can only hope (4+ / 0-)

That never happens....This attack is so vicious, I only hope the family has some very good friends to lean on.
        And maybe a little security.

        •  They have 60 million Democrats and another 150 (5+ / 0-)

million people who believe in fair play. Most of the rest have no problem with the Frosts  either.

Unlike the Amanda and the blogger intimidation from earlier this year, these kinds of attacks have to be resisted by neighbor,s activists, ordinary people wherever. This is the line in the sand.

The bullies have to be shamed in public and beaten back. When the truth comes out that process begins.

Big black eye for Bush, Malkin, Rush, Beck and a chorus of idiot Republicans who rushed in ,as usual without the facts. Now some Repubs smell the burning anger - they reverse 180 degrees and are running away as fast as they can.

  •  More than a simple pack reflex (5+ / 0-)

In Rwanda the radio hosts urged their followers to get machetes and hack their enemies. They were talking about one nationality simply destroying their neighbors. They were convicted of a war crime after the massacres. Malkin has the same idea.

Malkin, other RW nuts are trying to push that atmosphere here. Even as their claims and outrageous statements are debunked there is still a direct threat made to the Frost family.

One of the aims of this campaign by Republicans is intimidation, to get others in a similar plight not to act politically, not to challenge the RW hateful memes. Most Americans have sympathy for struggling families. Even middle class families may have insanely high private insurance bills that can be unaffordable in some cities.

To attack this family simply for supporting a sensible and fair bill is an attempt to use fear and intimidation to discourage political participation.

Malkin, Limbaugh, Beck think they own the airwaves, their  network of hate spewers will rule indefinitely.  A single clear voice exposing their hysterics with a truthful story destroys their narrative. So the attack is a reaction to their shrinking influence, and their insane hope that if something negative to the Frosts happens it will intimidate others.

This cannot be allowed. Those RWingers have to know inciting violence and terror is at their own personal peril. They will pay the price for attacking and hurting a 12 year old and his family. They will not escape, there is nowhere to hide for them behind a microphone or wherever they live.

Malkin, other idiot haters are on notice and have been warned.
