Al Gore has important data regarding the future of our planet. So what does he do? He goes it alone.
He is the sole 'front man' for An Inconvenient Truth.
Ask your self,
What would I do if Newt Gingrich had been the An Inconvenient Truth-teller?
or
What would I do if GWB five years from now discovers, on his million acre ranch in Paraguay, a rare herb that he claims (with mainstream scientists) cures cancer?
and
Would we be as thrilled to be hearing that Newt or George win the Nobel peace prize for their work in making the world a better place?
These are the questions we must ask ourselves this morning.
I may be the only one out their who is angry with Al Gore, right now. I believe he passed up a chance to do greater things:
First, he could've recriuted a conservative to join the An Inconvenient Truth presentation. This would've expanded the message far beyond the leftist, progressive-type label we got stuck with. While I don't mind labels, the message was far too great to have a politician deliver it.
Secondly, Al Gore (as the unitary presenter) could've used his An Inconvenient Truth production with the Oscar to organize a presidential campaign, 6 MONTHS AGO!! I believe the hill is too steep now for him to gain traction aganist the Hillary machine.
So, either Al Gore is a selfish egotist. Or he's not as smart as we've given him credit for. ( I can see the troll-rating already)
Hold your breath and count to ten, then give me your thoughts.
UPDATE: NewtG was a VERY bad example. Just replace his name with someone else from the right. And replace the AIT reference to someother topic that the left is especially good at.
UPDATE2:In the spirit of full discloser, I have to admit I donated $20.08 to DraftGore last spring.
