I thought of this while reading a commentator in Town Hall spout on about how 'scientists in the 1970s used to believe in 'the coming ice age'.
This is an urban myth, a legend...
So, I thought of a few more lies they're peddling and then I realized, we need to get their lies demolished.
The 10 idea is obvious, people seem to like that round number.
The Title of the book could be:
Top ten lies Republicans (or conservatives if you prefer) are peddling right now (and why they are peddling them)
My problems are
1.I'm not a big enough name to get the book noticed
2.I don't actually follow politics all that much, and can't think of 10. :(
Obviously any point can't be too much based on today's headlines as the book would take a while to publish, so the have to be points that have saliency.
Still, a few are obvious:
1.The 'coming ice age nonsense
2.Republicans don't believe in 'activist' judges
3.George Bush never said that Al-Quida and Iraq were linked.
4.Tax cuts pay for themselves
So, if anybody wants to take the title of the book and run with it, help yourself.
