Mr. President,
America has spoken. You have claimed throughout your presidency that you would always listen to those that elected you and that you would keep the best interest of the country at heart. Well, Mr. President, today is the day to put up or shut up.
America has long endured your wars of greed or misplaced desire to restore your father's honor. America has long endured your lies and misrepresentations. America has long endured your criminal administration and your illegal activities. But no more.
Today, for the first time in 6 years, your poll numbers have reach those of former President Richard M. Nixon. Today, a Reuters/Zogby poll finally showed that 24% of American's are all that you have left on your side. Mr. President, you have no where to go from here but down.
Former President Richard M. Nixon, when faced with the criminal activity in his administration and the falling poll numbers, decided to be a honorable man and to resign the presidency. He knew that America needed a new man to led the country. He knew that the country needed to heal. And in the annals of history, Nixon is seen as having done the honorable thing, the noble thing, the courageous thing.
Mr. President, will you do the honorable thing?
Mr. President, will you do the noble thing?
Mr. President, will you do the courageous thing?
Or will you force this country to endure yet another impeachment? Will you force us to air all our dirty laundry on the international mass media line? Do you so hate America and all that she represents that you would rather see her honor, her nobility, her freedoms, her patriotism and her bravery forgotten and tarnished simply so that you, a mere man, a mere mortal, can stay in power?
Have you no conscience? Have you no honor? Have you no decency? Have you no respect for anyone but yourself?
Today, Mr. President, do the right thing.
Resign.
