Okay, I'm not quite there yet, but I am getting to the point where I could trust other nations more than the United States. Isn't that messed up?!

The correct answer is, yes, it's very messed up! With Bush and his Pro-Death (not Pro-Life!) Republican Party beating the drums for a new war in Iran, it's understandable to be losing all faith in our government at this point.

And, the kicker is, I find myself looking at other countries for the more realistic perspective on things! So, yeah, I'm actually looking at Vladimir Putin as a more reliable source. WTF?! Should American Citizens really look to other countries as the ones offering reason and logic? The answer is no! You gotta be freakin' kidding me!

But, yet, here I am. And, I'm guessing, so are many of you. At this point, I am more likely to trust one power-hungry ruler like Putin over our power-hungry ruler, Bush. Ol' George at this point has completely lost his marbles. He's a religious fanatic whose sole decision-making instrument is probably the Book of Revelations.

America has turned into a pro-war, pro-execution, pro-torture, and essentially pro-death country. Honestly, can you be a Christian and not oppose practically everything our country is doing right now? Again, the answer is no.

It's time we get rid of all of these idiots in our government: the Republicans, who have never given a damn about human life, those Democrats who are lying down like cowards and letting the Republicans walk all over them, and anyone else who doesn't have as their main objective the saving of human life.

Instead of blowing 2.4 Trillion on steamrolling Iraq, why don't we spend it on some crazy stuff, like stopping the genocide in Darfur, or providing health insurance for our children, etc. Lord, we could probably solve a decent number of the world's major problems with that money!

So, now's the time to get rid of these idiots, and get ourselves a government where we actually trust something they tell us!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
