Every Friday at 08:00 AM Wisconsin Public Radio has an hour long program called "The Week in Review. They have 2 guest speakers which they change every week. One guest will discuss the important news stories of the past week from the liberal left perspective while the other will discuss them from the conservative right perspective. Callers are invited to ask questions or offer commentary about prominent issues in the news. I look at this as an opportunity to ask questions that the conservative guest will find rude, exasperating, infuriating, and generally hard for them to talk about.
I enjoy pointing out the hypocrisy of the Republican conservatives and I'd like to share this opportunity with the rest of the Kos blog. If you have a righteously and infuriatingly rude question to ask our conservative counterpoints then please leave me a response. Bear in mind that it must conform to rules of radio decency and must be refer to important issues of the moment.
Here is my latest example:
Ten days ago the Senate voted on a pair of Iraq war resolutions. Both bills were defeated but the resolution requiring a phased reduction over the next 2 years but without a deadline received support of a majority of Democrats and a few Republicans. Since that vote Democratic lawmakers have been called cut-and-run cowards waving the white surrender flag by Bush, Cheney, Rove and many Republicans. Late Monday, the commander of military forces in Iraq General Casey advance a plan to the government of Iraq detailing a phased reduction in forces without deadline quite similar to the plan proposed by Senate Democrats. Is General Casey a cut-and-run coward waving the white surrender flag or are Bush, Cheney, Rove and many Republicans hypocritical jackasses?
