The irony is that if you have to choose, pick the beautiful pancreas, for sure!
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?

The bigotry that lurks beneath this persistent "joke" should not be given a pass just because the apparent target is Coulter (the actual target is the transgendered).

but a rotten and transphobic comment. we do not have to be as crass and debasing as our opponents when criticizing those who disagree with us.
trans-jokes are simply not funny. and are told at the expensed of someone (someoneS). including people i respect on this site.
the TR is well-deserved.

She keeps us in the game of calling each other names while K Street keeps ripping all of us off using the bought and paid for leaders of both parties
It is time to put the petty bickering aside and concentrate on really cleaning up the government.
The way to do that is by forcing Kongress, after 220 years of refusing to do its Constitutional duty, to call an Article V Convention.
Once convened such a convention would then propose changes to the Constitution which will take the control of the government away from the corporate fascists and return it to the people.
The way to do that is explained here

You've written some good stuff...and this is for humor. Something about these times is making the "left-right" yammering media darlings... seriously tiresome. This country spends more time and energy throwing spears between two media camps. It feels contrived to make the political scene seem lively and contentious. The American political spectrum is so narrow as to make the "left-right" language laughable. If you had a Left you would have had "not for profit healthcare" in the 1960's.
Mainstream Democrats feed at the same manger as the GOP. They just don't talk while they are chewing.

because the leaders of the left in Kongress are on their knees in front of K Street With both their hands and their mouths wide open.
Until K Street is destroyed we will have no Republic, we will not have decent health care or decent education or decent jobs.
by rontripp on Fri Oct 05, 2007 at 03:01:27 AM PDT
the pie-graph... and tell me you have a left. My God.. your armed forces were de-segregated AFTER World War II? Slaves freed in 1865 and addressing the problem a century later? Whoooa Nelly. That American left is just a galloping. Next thing you know you'll have some watered down but profit making health care system..."for all" ohhh say a half century after the rest of the industrialized west went the distance. Maybe?
by BWildered on Fri Oct 05, 2007 at 03:12:19 AM PDT
around in 1948 when the left tried to get Socialized Medicine and was shot down by the AMA which called it a commie plot.
The Military Industrial complex which formed during WWII had already largely taken over control of the US Government.
It is not that there are no liberal leaning people in the country, it is that there are no liberal leaning persons in the leadership of Kongress in either party.
And that is because they have been bought and paid for by K Street.
In a very real sense the governemnt of the United States has been overthrown by an internal coup and most people don't even realize it yet.
by rontripp on Fri Oct 05, 2007 at 06:23:27 AM PDT
Specialized industries that are highly profitable but have short lifespans typically end with the biggest moneymaker in the business offering to sell you his secrets to success.
This usually takes the form of some guy leveraging the yacht and house he bought with his flash-in-the-pan success to prove to you that you can also strike it rich with private pay phones, buying real estate for no money down, managing a stable of public internet terminals, or flipping stocks instead of burgers.
He'll sell you his DVD set that will teach you how you can be just like him. What he won't tell you, is that the well from which his money sprang has recently dried up.
And that is where Ann Coulter is going with her next work of fiction:
How to Insult Liberals and Get Rich by Ann Coulter. (in bookstores January 2009)
