Apparently, our diplomatic shortcomings, in the eyes of the Saudi Monarchy, condemned all of the people who died on September the 11th.
It was all the result of our inability to properly kiss the ass of Saudi officials so that they would share their information on the hijackers, and avert a tragedy.
If the statements of Prince Bandar are to be believed, it was just the fact that our intelligence apparatus failed to ask the correct questions, or perhaps they didn't say, pretty please!
Now, I'm no conspiracy theorist, so I am just absolutely sure that the reason the attacks on us were allowed to be carried out was just as the Prince said:

Saudi Arabia could have helped the United States prevent al Qaeda's 2001 attacks on New York and Washington if American officials had consulted Saudi authorities in a "credible" way, the kingdom's former ambassador said in a documentary aired Thursday.
Speaking to the Arabic satellite network Al-Arabiya on Thursday, Bandar -- now Abdullah's national security adviser -- said Saudi intelligence was "actively following" most of the September 11, 2001, plotters "with precision."
Of course, the powers that be in Saudi Arabia gave nary a second thought to how their financial position might improve if they allowed the attacks, which they were so precisely following, to be carried out.
I guess we know who was manipulating the stockmarket to cash in on the horror. (If we didn't already)
What does the fact that Bush's buddy is saying something like this now, mean?
Any ideas?
Will we be gearing up to take the fight to those who aided and abetted the terrorists by their omission of action? /SNARK OF COURSE
Please discuss.
