If progressives want a solid voice in American politics they sure as hell better vote, vote carefully and, ideally, get out the vote for the best candidates. And off-year, low voter turnout elections like what is coming up TUESDAY NOVEMBER 6TH are the best chances for progressives to affect the outcome. So from now until Tuesday, get busy to prove progressives are a force in American politics.
To that end I want to highlight some important elections THIS TUESDAY that progressives can really influence. Please vote and help get out the vote for progressive candidates THIS WEEK!! Read on and look for your state. If I have missed something, please inform us in the comments, preferably with links about issues and endorsements.

For Mississippi there is a VERY IMPORTANT state wide election for Mississippi Insurance Commissioner. We have to elect Gary Anderson, a progressive, pro-consumer candidate against the insurance company supported corporate shill candidate. Go here to read about Gary Anderson and what is at stake.
