terrorist attack, the country will rally 'round the president, and he'll have that second term to get more tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans and more contracts for the good people who profit from war. Bush might also consider having a press conference to point out that with all this talk about soldiers getting killed, hostages being beheaded, and Iraqi children being blown up, everyone seems to be forgetting the fact that Halliburton and the Carlysle Group still have their gigantic contracts, and in that sense, we're winning! The sacrifice of the little Iraqi boy, the one who lost his family and had his arms blown off in our initial bombing campaign, was made so that he could live in freedom, or an Islamic theocracy depending on how things turn out.
And I think we'd all be proud to say that America invaded Iraq so that Iraq could have a soccer team in the olympics. :]
