She is depressing because the only people I’ve met who support her do so because she is "electable".
She is depressing because her primary claim to nomination is "inevitability".
She is depressing because her secondary claim is "experience" while having less experience than most of her competitors.

She is depressing because the only people I’ve met who support her do so because she is "electable".
She is depressing because her primary claim to nomination is "inevitability".
She is depressing because her secondary claim is "experience" while having less experience than most of her competitors.
She is depressing because she will do whatever it takes to win.
She is depressing because I have no idea what she actually believes in anymore.
She is depressing because I believe she would turn her back what beliefs she has in order to win.
She is depressing because she would follow Bush’s lead on foreign policy for fear of being "weak".
She is depressing because nothing will organize higher turnout among the Republican base than her nomination.
She is depressing because if nominated, anyone under 45 years old would never have voted when the ticket didn’t include either a Clinton or a Bush.
She is depressing because if nominated, we will hear the exact same attack script we’ve heard for 15 years.
She is depressing because I live in a state with such a late primary that my primary vote will not matter.
She is depressing because if she wins it will be another decade before we can have a President that is a step forward rather than a step into the past.
She is depressing because I believe she would continue the Unitary Executive strategies of Bush/Cheney.
She is depressing because she would likely continue to stage events rather than engage citizens.
She is depressing because if she wins, policy debates will devolve into rehashes of "scandals" from 10 years ago, ad nauseam.
She is depressing because if she wins we will need to live through 4-8 more years of Monica Lewinsky jokes on late night television.
She is depressing because Republicans will proclaim how she is intrinsically evil no matter how far to she shifts her policies to the right.
She is depressing because most independents will believe them.
She is depressing because most of this is completely outside her control.
She is depressing because if she wins it will be too narrowly to give anything approaching a mandate.
She is depressing because she symbolizes everything that is wrong with our political process, only with better policies.
This is my opinion.
Almost any of the other Democratic candidates would be better. Your opinions may vary.
My only hope is that we avoid the train wreck before it becomes "inevitable".
She might win. She might even manage to be an OK, but ineffective President.
But she would certainly be a depressing one.
