Interesting article in the Washington Post about Sharon's declining support among the Israeli center.
There are parallels with BushCo's situation here, with a big difference being, as the article states, no viable alternative to Sharon exists in Israel. Even Wolfowitz seems to implicitly recognize this as he's quoted, referencing an independent peace proposal, "As Americans, we know there are times when great changes can spring from the grass roots."
