That 4 years ago we spent the whole fucking primary season ripping each other to pieces?
That it was people at dkos who made the most fun of John Edwards (Breck girl? Have I mentioned that I'm the son of a mill worker?)
That is was people at dkos who loved to refer to John Kerry as an Ent? As Lurch?
That Clark supporters could not resist referring to Howard Dean as a toad?
The 2008 version of primary season is more subtle, but even more stupid.
Now we get quivering essays about how candidate x almost had you, or used to have you, or will never have you. It feels like a middle school slumber party around here lately, complete with greasy pizza and nail polish in 28 colors.
For the love of Christ, stop with the heartfelt manifestos about why you just can't support this candidate or that one. It's pointless. Your support --unless you're a citizen of an early primary state or a big financial donor -- means squat to the process.
These endless hand-wringing diaries cheapen this whole place. They don't add information to the discourse. Stop writing them. Stop recommending them. Stop reading them. It's embarrassing.
