101-year-old Briton poses topless for calendar
A 101-year-old British pensioner has posed topless for a nude calendar to raise money for a local football team, a report said Wednesday.
Nora Hardwick will be Miss November in the calendar, aimed at raising money for her children's team Ancaster Athletic in her village in Lincolnshire, eastern England.
"It's a great way of raising money, it's a laugh and it's a way of getting Ancaster on the map," said the 35-year-old, who is Miss December according to a report on the paper's website at www.lincolnshireecho.co.uk.
The calendar was intended as a low-key local event -- although since news of the event spread, media enquiries have come in from as far afield as Brazil and New Zealand.

Fox guest: Take rights from women 'showing skin' at work
"We live in an era when men have to rely on the sanity and the mood of a woman rather than the U.S. Constitution for his protection," he told the host of Fox's Your World. "Between the EEOC rules and the Violence Against Women Act, the workplace has become a dangerous place for men."
Rudov says that when men look at women "showing their thighs" at the workplace, "they can lose their job."
When asked what exactly he was afraid of, Rudov was hesitant to respond. But he did come up with a solution, although slightly draconian in nature. "For every inch of skin you reveal at work," he suggests, "you give up a right."

Ex-Anchor Loses Lawsuit Against CNN
ATLANTA (AP) - A former CNN anchor who claimed the news network discriminated against her because she was older and white has lost her lawsuit.
A U.S. District Court jury deliberated for five hours before deciding Wednesday in favor of CNN, which claimed that Marina Kolbe's contract was not renewed because of her average performance and failure to improve.
Kolbe had worked in Atlanta for CNN's International division for four years when in 2003 the network failed to renew her contract. Kolbe, then 42, was replaced by a South Asian anchor.
``The young and beautiful will do well in the business as long as they are young and beautiful,'' he said.
Damned if we show it and damned if we don't. Crazy world..still.
