So, you've been paying your mortgage on time. All your bills are covered. You're living within your means. All this background chatter about the mortgage industry collapse means nothing to
you. Change the channel to that reality tv show that you don't let anyone know has recently become a guilty pleasure. All's well with
YOUR world. Right?

The dust is just beginning to settle on the massive ramifications of this mess, and how it will most certainly affect just about everything and everyone...unless you've got a few million socked away and you're adept at short-selling the market(s).
If you're haven't been paying attention to this mortgage mess--which could very well undermine our economy to the likes of which hasn't been witnessed in generations--you may just want to reconsider what this is all about...especially if you're a member of the American Federation of State and County Municipal Employees, or AFSCME. This just became your
immediate problem, too.
