Done with DiFi

I've been thinking about it all weekend and I finally decided that...

I'm done with DiFi. For years we have sat by and let her have her cushy Senate seat, letting her run unopposed, unchallenged, unquestioned. But this Mukasey thing, this is it. The End. Finito. Kaput.

I can no longer support Dianne Feinstein.

It really is that simple. I mean, I just Googled "Mukasey" and the first entry that shows up says: Mukasey Is (Much) Worse Than Gonzales. She couldn't do that?

Let's make sure that her remaining time in office is as miserable as this vote.

This is getting pathetic. Pffft!

  He made the classically stupid error of recommending someone he didn't know enough about.  One can hope. Stupid is forgivable, within reason.

  But Feinstein?

  No excuse.  

  Acting AG is better than the imprimatur of torture being A-O-K with Congress.

  As I understand it, there is no question that waterboarding is torture.  It is well established in both law and military code.  Refusing to call it so, when the implications for our nation and our own servicemen and women are so profound, is simply unacceptable.

  We're in extraordinary times here.  I expect our Congress to act extraordinarily, even if it means denying that bastard in the White House an AG.
