After enduring the most negative press coverage on a nominee that I can remember and relentless attacks from her competitors over the pass few weeks, Hillary Clinton is not only still standing, but standing strong.
Two national polls prove that illustrate what a daunting task it will be for any Democrat to defeat Clinton. A CNN poll has Clinton leading 40% to 30% over Obama. While a New York Times poll has Clinton leading Obama 44% to 27%.

And the two issues Obama will get pounded on over the next few weeks, electability and experience, does not bode well for Obama at all:
"The poll found that Mrs. Clinton continues to enjoy — nationally, if not necessarily to the same degree in Iowa and New Hampshire — many advantages. She is, by a large margin, viewed as most electable: 63 percent of Democrats said they thought Mrs. Clinton has the best chance of all the Democrats in a general election, compared with 14 percent who named Mr. Obama and 10 percent for Mr. Edwards.
Mr. Obama’s argument that Mrs. Clinton, if elected, would be a divisive figure does not appear to be breaking through nationally: 65 percent of respondents said that Mrs. Clinton would be able to bring the country together rather than divide it; 54 percent said the same about Mr. Obama.
And reflecting what has been Mrs. Clinton’s central argument against Mr. Obama, 83 percent of respondents said Mrs. Clinton had the experience to serve as president, compared wit 41 percent who said the same thing about Mr. Obama and 36 percent for Mr. Edwards."
Now that Obama is seen as serious contender, he will finally have to answer tough questions, defend himself from attacks, explain his record and at the same time demonstrate why he believes he has the right amount of experience and can win the General Election. Indeed the fun now begins.
Also, one of Obama's favorite lines is "how he doesn't want to refight the battles of the '90s", well this is a response from the most political savvy man maybe ever:
"People say we shouldn't refight the battles of the '90s and I agree with that," said Clinton. "I'd sure like to have some of the victories of the '90s."
Of course that will be Bill Clinton. In other words, Obama will need all the Oprah he can get. Which leads to the poll question of the day:
