It's a historic year. Not only because there will be a tide of Democratic victories that will make FDR's win over Hoover look like a close race, but there are unique and different voting methods being used for the first time in a partisan manner in our county ... and your thoughts would be appreciated.
After all, it's the first time in 230 odd years of our democratic republic this has been used.

Again, this is the first partisan election that will be run in the RCV environment in nearly 230 years of our democracy. It will be for partisan positions on the county council and executive.
The questions:
- In your opinion, is there advantages/disadvantages to having a single candidate ... both Democratically and strategically?
