When is a boycott not a boycott?

OK, color me confused.

As you know, the Democratic presidential candidates have all signed an agreement not to campaign in the state of Florida because we moved our presidential primary to January 29, earlier than allowed by party rules.

They are, however, allowed to come to Florida for fundraising, which has only served to heighten the animosity towards the whole process from here in Florida.

Now, however, we learn there will be a Democratic presidential debate on January 27 on the campus of Florida Atlantic University. (link  here.)

I don't see how this could be perceived as anything other than blantant campaigning, especially falling 2 days before our poison primary.

I don't have a problem with the DNC trying to install some semblance of order to their selection process, but their draconian measures (which are way more severe than the Republican measures) have only served to to push Florida further into the Red come November.

And now, to find that the punishments are there only when they suit who knows who's agenda, only serves to make us even more frustrated down here.

I doubt Florida was going to reverse the Republican trend of the last 2 presidential elections. All of this, however, has only served to solidify that trend.
