Not me personally. I don't have kids and I don't drink milk, and I don't have far to drive to work. The man in this article is struggling to feed his family, and there are millions like him in this country, supposedly the richest in the world. It breaks my heart, especially this time of year, to think of people not being able to afford the most basic nutritional staples for their children.
Also, food banks around the country are running out of food.
We've gotten ourselves in a major bind, and it will take cooperation to see our way through these tough times.
The upshot, if you could call it that, is that hopefully the voters are waking up to the fact that there is no compassion in our so-called compassionate conservative president and his ownership society.
