•  Here is a cautionary fact which

  should cause those who want to "Ditch Mitch" to do some additional thinking.

  If I recall correctly,in the most recent Kentucky election,the winner of the office of Secretary of State in Kentucky was a Republican. In most states and no doubt Kentucky is one of them, the Secretary of State is in charge of overseeing fair and honest elections.

  What that means is that Mitch will have an ally in his Senate race combined with the use of evoting machines.

  Thus,it is quite likely that Mitch will be attempting to rig the election in his favor.

  although I'd call them traits rather than lies... no doubt there's plenty of lying going on to support all these antisocial activities.

  tax-cuts for the wealthy
  poverty assistance cutbacks
  serving Bush as flunky

  endless iraq war
  and the nastiest of smear campaigns
