Biden is at it again, back in Iowa, and he is going full force.  The whole Biden family will be amassing 86 campaign events from now 'til the Iowa Caucuses.

This is Biden's latest message to Biden loyals and newcomers.

Listen to the man, donate!

An individual supporter has launched the following website for a national fundraiser on Jan. 1st calling it a "New Year's Resolution" to get a true leader in the White House.  Don't sit back and watch, act!

Visit both:

After a short break to spend the holiday with family, I am returning to Iowa today. The next 8 days will be a full-out sprint for the every campaign in this race, including ours. With a clear (but cold) forecast for January 3rd, we're hearing predictions that the turnout on caucus night might hit an all-time high -- in this type of environment, it's absolutely crucial we reach every single potential voter with our message before next week.  Will you make a contribution to our media fund today to help put up even more ads in Iowa this last week? Contribute $15, $25, $50 or more to our media fund.  While the media is obsessed with the non-stop squabbling going on between other campaigns, we are quickly and not-so-quietly having a lot of success with our phone banks and events. In addition to me, my  entire family is criss-crossing the state this week, talking to as many people as possible. People are noticing our Iowa Legislative endorsements and the crowds are bigger and more knowledgeable each day. With your help, we are going to blow through media expectations next week and head to New Hampshire for 5 intense days of campaigning with a head of steam.  By making a contribution to our media fund today, your money puts our message in front of hard to reach voters in the last days before the caucus. We are preparing the final media buys this week and I am asking each person who reads this email if they can make a contribution today. Help us make sure we're in front of every single caucus-goer before they make their final decision.  Because of supporters like you, we are leaving no stone unturned in the next 8 days.

Thank you,

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

  •  The Definition of Insanity (2+ / 0-)

It is said that the definition of insanity is, repeating the same behavior and expecting a different result.

No matter how much the GOP has screwed up this country, conservatives (religious, fiscal, social) will not abandon their party or give up an inch of red turf.

The "shift" has already taken place and Democrats need to wake up before it's too late.  Right or wrong, the American people want to believe that the Iraq war has turned a corner. They want to believe it because they also want to go back to thinking only of themselves.

It is therefore crucial that Democrats come to realize that they must nominate moderate with strong foreign policy chops and loads and loads of bi-partisan support.  Joe Biden is the only Democrat with a realistic chance of winning.

Bitch all you want . . . the Democratic party is being wrenched back to center by the force of unfolding events.

Get behind Joe Biden or you just may find yourself humming "Hail to the Chief" as John McCain takes the oath of office.

John McCain will be the nominee of his party and only Joe Biden has the depth to take on and beat that man, one on one.

  •  Everyone looks to Iowa to annointa front-runner (0+ / 0-)

But what do Ioans think?  Maybe, just maybe they will decide to send America a different message:

This is a four horse race.

A third-place finish would send the media into Bidenmoneum.  If anyone is poised to benefit in NH from am Iowa bump, that candidate is Joe Biden.

Even a strong 4th place finish would create a large stir for Senator Biden.  If the winner takes less than 30% that is not going to be seen as decisive.  Especially if the 4th place candidate places close to 20%.

Either way results in Senator Biden getting looked at under a new light - and just five days before the often contrarian NH voters weigh in with their say.

    It.  Could.  Happen!
